My name is Shari McDonald. I am a women wanting it all and between the age of 40 and 50. I am married to a man I grew up with and have known since third grade. We’ve been married for over 18 years. No, we weren’t childhood sweethearts. We didn’t actually start dating until after high school. That is a story in itself for another time.

I have 2 great kids. A beautiful, blonde, intelligent 17 year old daughter who is well on her way of becoming a very successful women wanting it all. I also have a 15 year old son who is very involved in football and wrestling. He too is on his way to many great successes and dreams of wanting it all.

We are your normal, typical, and busy family. We are “living the dream” and have the house, cars, dog, and cat. We have a black lab named Jinx and a cat named Jasmine. We are involved in the football/cheer booster clubs and do a lot of volunteering to help them out.

I am a software engineer for a major defense company and have been doing that for over 20 years. I love my work but it can be very stressful and serious at times. That is why I started this blog. I wanted to join the cyber-world of facebook, twitter, and blogging. I want to sit in front of a computer and just partake in the easy-going, relaxing atmosphere of connecting with people over the internet.

I hope to meet a lot of women, who like me, are simply wanting it all – whatever that means to them. I look forward to sharing my crazy experiences and hearing from women who want to share back and can relate.
